1. How long does it take to issue the card? 

 

  • After we receive and approve your card application; it takes 3 to 5 working days for the card to be sent out.

 

 


2. How long does it take to deliver the card?

 

  • After a card is issued; if it is requested to be sent by regular mail, the time it will take to arrive will depend on the postal system in your country and normally should not take more than 3 to 4 weeks to be delivered.

 

  • Cards requested to be sent by courier are delivered within 5 days from approving your application. 

 

 

 

3. How long does it take to approve a card application?

 

  • Card application approval depends on the provision and acceptance of your documents and the ability to reach you over the phone to verify your details. Once you submit your online application, you should expect a call from our Support team within 24 hours during working days and on the next working day during weekends and bank holidays.

 

  • Once your application is approved, we will notify you by email when your card is issued and sent out.
     

 

 

4. Why is the balance on a card showing a -10? What is this fee for? 

  • The -10 that you see on the available balance is not a fee. 
  • The available balance appears as -10 because 10 currency units will be reserved on the card balance from your first deposit to protect it from going into a negative balance.
  • For example: if you deposit USD 100 to your card, the current balance will be 100 whereas the available balance to spend will be 90.

 

 

 

 

5. Can I change the PIN code for the card at an ATM machine?

  • The PIN code for the card cannot be changed at an ATM machine.

 

 

 

 

6. What shall I do if I lose or forget my PIN code? 

  • If you lose or forget your PIN, you need to report it to the Card Issuer Customer Support Team at support@hotforexcard.com to assist you with a PIN Re-issue.
  • PIN re-issue fee costs $30 and you will receive your PIN by courier delivery to the registered address of your card account.

 

 

 

 

7. What shall I do if I lose my card?

  • As soon as you are aware that your card has been lost or stolen, immediately report it to +44 203 3181806 so the card is instantly blocked.

 

 

 

8. What happens if I do not use my card?

  • If you have a zero balance and you do not use your card within a period of 12 months, it will be automatically deactivated. You can request to re-activate your card whenever required as long as it has not expired.
  • If you have a balance on your card and you do not use it during a calendar month, you will be charged a monthly administration fee and your card will be deactivated when the balance on your card reaches zero. Please refer to fees table below.


 

 

 

 

9. What happens if my card balance goes below zero?

 

  • As per the terms and conditions, you are obliged to cover any negative balance on your card within a reasonable and acceptable period of time.

 

 

 

10. I cannot withdraw funds from my card, what is wrong?

 

Before you attempt to make an ATM withdrawal or a purchase you need to make sure of the following:

  • Your card is active
  • You have sufficient funds on your card
  • The ATM or POS machine you are using accepts  UnionPay cards
  • You are using the correct PIN code

If the transaction is still declined, please contact the Card Issuer Customer Support Team at support@hotforexcard.com and provide the following details in order to resolve the issue:

  • The exact date when you attempted to use the card
  • The exact amount of the transaction you attempted to perform
  • The merchant/bank name at which you tried to use the card
  • The exact error message you received on the terminal while trying to use your card
  • The location where you attempted to use your card if you are using it outside your country of residence.

 

 

 

 

11. Why can I only withdraw a limited amount from my card?

  • If you have not reached the daily or monthly spending limits on your card and the ATM machine does not dispense more than a specific amount, it means that the bank that owns the ATM machine at which you are trying to withdraw has implemented a maximum amount per withdrawal transaction.
  • In other instances, the card may be subject to EMV restrictions since it is a magnetic stripe card and therefore you may not be able to withdraw cash using the card for more than USD 350 in 2 attempts every 12 hours. To remove this restriction, please contact us at support@hotforexcard.com

 

 

 

 

12. How much money can I load to the card?

 

The card is subject to annual loading limits depending on the KYC documents you supply to the card issuer. Below is a table summarizing these limits per category. The card is issued by default under Premium Category; should you wish to upgrade your card loading limits, please choose the desired category and send the required documents directly to the Card Issuer at documents@csc24seven.com:
